A Flavourful Delight
Ingredients:
- 2 boiled potatoes (mashed)
- 1 tablespoon SND Hing Aloo Masala
- 1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Salt to taste
- Ground tamarind (as per your taste)
- Red chili powder (optional, as per taste)
- 2 cups of water
Method:
- Heat a pan on medium flame and add 1 tablespoon of ghee. Allow it to melt and become aromatic.
- Add 1 tablespoon of SND Hing Aloo Masala to the hot ghee. Stir it gently for 10–15 seconds to release its flavors.
- Toss in the grated ginger and sauté it until it turns slightly golden and fragrant.
- Add the mashed boiled potatoes to the pan. Stir well so that the potatoes soak in the spiced ghee mixture evenly.
- Pour in 2 cups of water and mix thoroughly to create a smooth consistency. Adjust the water quantity as per your desired thickness.
- Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring occasionally.
- Once it starts bubbling, add salt, ground tamarind, and red chili powder according to your taste. Stir well and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Turn off the flame and let the Hing Aloo Masala rest for a minute before serving.
